Creepy Green Eyed Ranga (and her sibling, Creepy Blue Eyed Ranga), emerged from layering vintage ads, small magazine page rips, textured tissue and origami paper, she appeared and looked so forlorn & alone I created a sibling, dressed just as my mother used to dress my sisters and I, in matching outfits. Oh in Australia people with 'red hair' are called 'Rangas' so in this case I guess this little babe is definitely a clash of culture, east meets west on a very small canvasboard (4 inches square).

Definitely not going to wank on about how great or how many awards I have... except... for an art award I got in Grade 2 - colouring-in within the lines... proud moment, won a pack of felt pens in a tin box with a Gauguin print on the outside & haven't looked back... Still haven't worked out how to replicate that work in felt pens, the man was a genius.
