Earth Whisper Print

"Earth Whisper" is part of a series titled "New World." This series started with a dream— a dream of the physical body floating in space and moving freely around the planets and stars. Over the next few nights, the planets disappeared and gave way to fields of colour dancing against the abyss— shimmering against the infinite darkness. A beam of light emanating from the heart, the physical body disappeared, now it was only particles of light in fields of colour, moving freely and weightless in space. For months, many trials to recreate the images of the dream failed as it was about duplication and not the energy and emotions felt. Images on the canvas changed when came the recognition—it was not about recreating the objects but the sense of joy, and oneness that was felt. Pouring paints, allowing colours to move freely across the canvas, overlapping to mix and create new colours, textures and depth. Recreating the sense of joy for the self and others—the purpose of the dream, the purpose of being creative, the purpose of sharing my passion with the viewer.
