About The Artwork
I love anatomy, and wanted to show the beauty of the equine skull through color and texture on paper. I used watercolor and ink for the initial painting and added a sand grit to bring nature into the texture and spirit of the horse and overall feeling of this piece.

Hi, my name is Taylor White and I am a fine artist, wife and mother. I apprenticed under artist Jim Loomis of Ashtabula Ohio who has a masters degree in fine art. I am currently residing in Lakeland Florida and am working toward my bachelors degree in studio arts. I am a former president of an art guild in Ohio where I set up exhibitions, public outreach, art education and portfolio guidance sessions for high school students preparing to apply to art colleges, specifically the Cleveland Institute of Art. I worked in league with the Ashtabula Arts Center and gained a lot of knowledge studying under the fine arts director on exhibition design and planning.
