REDUCED BY $600 At The Moment. Romance elicits an enormous spectrum of emotions for each of us, within romance we can experience passion, love, excitement and joy to anguish and pain. The agony and the ecstasy in life. By having the flowers drip different colours, this felt like a very natural artistic method to convey the multitudes of emotional complexities that arise within romance and love. The brilliant green background ,intentionally unnatural, helps to further illuminate the passions encountered within the flowers of romance. I've always loved abstract landscapes and I seriously rate Cy Twombly's art. I adore his series of large highly coloured abstract flower paintings, their simplicity yet powerful beauty. This is an acrylic painting on canvas supplied with fitted hanging gear and it will be packaged in a crate for transportation.

July 1st to July 2024 Micheal Haran is having " A Solo Exhibition of Paintings and Prints ‘ paintings at 54 The Gallery, Shepherd Market in Mayfair, London W1J 7QX where he is exhibiting 50 artworks. Micheal Haran studied Fine Art at The Slade School of Fine Art, UCL from 1989 to 1991. Micheal’s artistic practice encompasses a painterly spiritual cosmology, in which the journey of inner evolution and growth is repeatedly explored. Employing the full spectrum of abstractionist and suggestive modes of representation, his work surveys the depths of the collective unconscious through subtle allusions to personal experiences of travel and transformation. Aesthetically informed by Post-Impressionism, Dadaism, Surrealism, and Abstract Expressionism. Micheal Haran works across a wide variety of 2D media with a focus on oil or acrylic on canvas, as well as many mixed media works on paper. He often merges the verbal and the visual, a process through which he either distils and unites philosophical ideas with pictorial symbolism, or playfully engages in themes of dreams, inner landscapes, and the realm of the soul. Conceptually, the artist is continuously inspired by his deeply transformative experiences with Shamanism notions of wisdom associated with ancient cultures, the Archaeology of The Sacred. Micheal draws inspiration from many of the Beat movement writers, particularly Jack Kerouac, and a plethora of musical genres, particularly Jazz. Many of the early Abstract Expressionist artists such as Lee Krasner, Helen Frankenthaler, Cy Twombly, Clyfford Still and Mark Rothko are often referenced in his works and help contribute towards his artistic thinking. Micheal lived in Iquitos, in the Peruvian Amazon, for two and a half years and it is where his son was born. During this time, he developed a strong connection with Amazonia and its flora and fauna and its people. This passion has led him to dedicate himself to both producing art and also to raising funds for the protection of the Amazon and other ecological biomes. See his page www.amazonia.love for more information of the ecological causes he supports. Micheal lives and works in London and his work in held in many private collections internationally.
