Born in 1963 , I grew up in Glasgow and have developed a very successful award winning photographic career that has taken me all over the world and has helped me develop a style of painting influenced by my experiences Painting from direct observation of my subject. I have developed a quick and spontaneous way of working. Using oils with brush and palette knife allaprima (Wet-on wet)style, The objective is to try and capture a moment in time, with light and colour, with a fresh contemporary and dramatic application of paint.
