I use art to manifest, communicate, and share the urgency and vastness of living with trauma and healing oneself—using nature as my guide. I create large abstract landscape watercolor paintings, with ink detail work. I also sculpt using recycled and foraged materials.'m a survivor, and art is how I make my life worth living. A survivor of rape, sodomy, suicide, a school shooting, and even a cult! (Happy to talk about any and all!) I want to be a social entrepreneur/artist, who shows others that there are many ways of being! Previously working at Pitchfork, WNYC, BRIC, and as social director for an immigration law firm—I left the traditional workforce after being sexually assaulted in the music industry. I developed PTSD on top of other preexisting psychological treats: OCD, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. After having my boundaries consistently crossed, I knew there had to be another way to operate in this industry. I’m a self-taught artist, using it to express trauma and healing.
