Goddess Bastet (also known as Bast) was the goddess of cats, women´s secrets, sacred dance, domestic life, fertility and childbirth in ancient Egypt. I find Bastet as very fascinating goddess. She represents the power of womanhood and is unapologetic about her "femininity". Something that is often questioned in our modern day world. We should all be allowed to be ourselves.
