This gallery wrapped mixed media piece is an authentic release of gratitude, the feeling and word painted/written/printed over and over again until few of the letters are recognizable. It is an energy piece designed to remind the viewer that gratitude is a colorful, glorious connection; a circuit of giving and receiving. When one is grateful to a person or experience it is because something's been given and then someone receives the gratitude and then in response, becomes grateful . It becomes a circuit of a never ending loop of gifts. One gives, one receives, and that one gives gratitude in response and the other receives. Thus you have established a permanent connection for you are now entangled and never alone. You have a connection always.

I am an organic artist creating abstract art by listening to my intuition. It means I am trying to reach something fundamental and essential to us in our lives. My new series is about the elements of the soul...that with which we all have at birth. These are the ability to feel and express love, joy, peace, gratitude, strength, courage, and humility. These are common threads we share as humans and unites us all when we remember. How to express these elements lead me to think of the words and there letters (love, joy, etc.) as symbols of the elements (energy). For example, after meditation, I begin with the word Gratitude and paint it large, medium and small sizes, with different brushes, with different media until the words are almost entirely gone and a single design "word" appears as mostly colorful energy. I love the process and hope it reminds you of who you are: a spirit having a human experience.
