The Grenfell Tower disaster symbolises the gulf between the poorer sections in society and the rich.No accountability, similarly clad buildings still unrefurbished, meagre compensation....the list goes on. The nation represented here by the Union Jack is severely damaged and divided. I gave this work a deliberately distressed surface. It is mounted on a wooden stretcher and signed on the back.
