Inner Connection Print

My name is Suncana Barbaric. I am an artist based in Dubrovnik, Croatia. From early age I was surrounded with art, as my both parents loved to paint. During last years of primary school my love for art grew more and more, and I decided to enroll in Art high school (Umjetnicka skola Luka Sorkocevic in Dubrovnik). There I learned about usage of proportions, basic drawing and painting skills, also got introduced to sculpture and graphic design. That school really taught me so much and guided me in great direction towards discovering my talent. After 4 years of high school I enrolled to University of Dubrovnik, where in 2019. I received title of Bachelor in Art and Restauration. During that time I spent one semester in Paris as exchange student at Ecole de Conde. Parisian museums, galleries and architecture inspired me to the point that they made me grow so much as a person and as an artist. I am so grateful that I had that opportunity in life, it was the best experience I could have wished for. From 2018. I am a member of DULU ( Dubrovnik artists association) with which I exibited on a couple of group exibitions during past two years.
