About The Artwork

This work was inspired by the idea that each life can be represented by a circle that goes from birth to death. As we live our life our "circle" overlaps with other people's circles, sometime completely and sometime only in part. This is a small painting created using metallic gold, silver and black paint on a wood panel which was texturized using paper and glass beads. Italian-born, California-based artist Anyes Galleani’s is an award winning visual artist whose work has received international recognition. She has created art throughout her life using paint, collage, photography, digital manipulation, video and photography. She is a former fashion photographer and video director and has been a full-time artist since 2012.

For manyl years, Anyes’ studio and later art gallery were located in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles and her work consisted of pop art influenced by street art and by her fashion background and urban surroundings. In 2021 Anyes moved to the California countryside where she has been inspired to create abstract art. However, her core style has not changed being still reminiscent of pop & street art, featuring bright colors, paint drips and an unmistakable rawness characteristic of her work.
