About The Artwork
This painting is of the Manhattan Beach Pier just as the sun is about to set. The sun sets directly in the opening of the pier only twice a year. I wanted to capture the light which is the main focus of this piece. Light is important in all of my work. I want the viewer to feel the warmth and the peace.
