'My Favourite Number 7 (Copper and Green)' is a mixed media painting on stretched canvas. It's an original painting, a gift for a wonderful person, my neurologist who has helped me tremendously and still does. The theme of the number, colours of copper and green is very symbolic of her. First of all, she is an artist herself and I got to know that she likes classical art, hence, that is why I tried to marriage something to her liking and what I like to paint and is expressly to myself in this image. Seven is her favourite number, so that is the reason for the choice number. I thought copper and green suited the theme for her intelligence, patience, compassion, harmony, understanding and healing abilities. She truly is all these and on the lucky theme for anyone who believes in luck, it has been fortuitous for me that I crossed her path. I am very grateful to her!

Jason is a painter and illustrator of various styles and different media for different ends. Principally a surrealistic and abstract artist, he has a fondness for satire and caricature, with a hint of humour fantasy and the whimsical. Nevertheless, there is a realistic and a sober aspect to some of his work too. His different genres of works are ongoing series which are added to from time to time, whether it is his Aviary, Abstract, Allegoric or any other style he employs. World events, social affairs and politics draw his attention, but he can be inspired by everything and anything seen, heard or felt. His expression can be direct or ambiguous. What is prevalent throughout his work is light, movement and flow, hardly any black is employed, leaning towards enlightenment.
