About The Artwork
I'm inspired by nature, the curves, color, and texture of natural forms. A simple bloom with it's petals catching the light filtering through the tree, it's spectacular center shows off the color and patterns, attracting our attention. I feel that a subject such as this, although simple in concept, is a call to our senses. Even though this is realistic, it is also in a sense abstract and graphic in its design.
