About The Artwork

"Pomegranate Reverie" is a watercolor painting that captures the lush beauty of a pomegranate hanging from its branch. The vibrant green of the fruit contrasts beautifully with the deep, dreamy blues and purples of the background, creating a sense of depth and mystery. The interplay of light and shadow brings the scene to life, evoking a moment of serene contemplation in a verdant garden. This piece is perfect for adding a touch of natural elegance and tranquility to any space. Watercolor, paper.

My name is Alexandra Skripchenko and I have been drawing since a very young age. I feel like a romantic artist, who wants to show not only artwork but impression. In a huge industrial world sometimes we need to escape from urban culture and embrace nature. Nature inspires me the most, especially the sea, mountains, olive groves, and flowers. Several times a year I go to new places to paint. I prefer watercolor, especially using handmade watercolor paper. I started painting at the institute, attending academic drawing and painting courses. At the end of the training, my works were included in the exposition of the gallery of the Institute. I love contemplating beautiful nature and always wanted to capture the moment on paper. That's how I became an artist. I chose watercolor for its lightness and transparency. My customers say that my watercolor works fit very well into bright modern interiors. I was born and raised in Ukraine and live in Kyiv. But I travel a lot and paint in new places. Often people buy my work because they feel the mood of this place, which they also once visited. I would also like to sell my works on Artfinder because this will allow me to expand the number of buyers and give new horizons to my creativity.
