About The Artwork

PORTRAIT includes tubes from medical droppers as elements. The work symbolizes the struggle against serious illnesses, the will of power and faith in life. First time this art work was presented in America House Gallery as the part of B Positive exhibition devoted to the problem of AIDS. Do we see a person despite the fear, ignorance and bias? Severe disease, physiological disabilities are especially reminiscent of the test of litmus paper as a reflection of tolerance and quality of relationships in society.
