About The Artwork
One of a series for Barcelona, inspired by my reading about pi and the Pyramids, where I investigate geometry, and color balance. Using the possibilities of fine encaustic painting I hope to have created a feeling of timelessness, superposing past and present. It is fully equipped and ready to hang.

Born near Chicago, she has travelled extensively and is currently working in the southwest of France. Although she has a BFA, she considers herself as self-taught, because most discoveries are made while in the process of working. She has experimented with various techniques, but uses pigments and resins in a mixed media spirit along with encaustic (beeswax) media.
