All the colors you see are pure mineral pigments I collected myself from the earth.(majority found in the mountains of Cauca Colombia) After drying and processing I mix them with water then glue to make an especially wonderful paint. I love this piece for many reasons, it makes me laugh because the raccoons are just realizing that the party is surrounded by owls. And the mice are about to get eaten. I am so grateful for this beautiful yellow I found in the mountains of Morales Colombia Poem by Noah Blaze Donavan I am cutting up chunks of my swollen ancestors rice-teeth strung together the gunpowder kids in thier black masks play for us ghost riders in the sky dance for me with the springtails and the web-spinners we are shade tolerant clearing a plot in the seed bank.
