Born and based in Kyiv, Ukraine, Yu Polch is a multidisciplinary artist. STATEMENT I live all my life with Abstract Art under my skin and deeply enjoy to the fact my grand grand grandfather was the official painter at Ortodox Church. I have got still his old b&w photo, where he sits during the painting with easel. I'm Ukrainian and was born in Kiev in 1959, USSR, and now live in Kyiv, Ukraine. I started to paint early and decision to go to a local Children Art School was taken solely by me. Later, I graduated after Kyiv Polytechnical Institute and took 5 year classes on Jazz Guitar at Music School. In 90's I jammed as guitarist around Kyiv city Art Galleries with my free jazz trio.
