About The Artwork
I painted this large painting and was inspired by the month of May which is upon us now here in the UK. The colours are so vivid and varied and I hope that I captured the feeling of joy and new beginnings. I like acrylics because they allow me to work quickly and intuitively to capture the moment of creative intensity without interruption. Abstraction in painting is the most intimate form of expression giving direct access into the artist's soul!
