As per several religious mythologies, the human body consists of five elements namely fire, water, sky, air and earth. This painting describes the relationship between a human body with these elements. The human is emerging from these elements shown in red, yellow, black, blue and orange colours. The body absorbs these elements and creates the entire world around it depicted by the drawings in the body itself. Also these elements becomes stronger in the human body shown by darker colour of elements. Amogh Katyayan is an established artist from Canada whose paintings hang in several homes all over the world. This painting is shipped in a tube to reduce shipping cost and requires framing.

My painting technique can be compared to the looking for images in the clouds. I begin with a blank canvas and as I layer on the initial coat of paint to create textures and colours, I start to see shapes and figures emerge from the paint. This is the foundation from which my paintings develop. With the freedom open-minded approach brings, my painting takes on a life of its own. From the images I initially see, my paintings take on stories, issues, and experiences to which others can relate. I encourage to read the story behind or developed with the work. When you look into my work, you will see the story falling into place. With this work you can also create your own story! I am currently working on “Common Man” series. The main subject in each piece ,“Our Hero”, depicts the daily life of a person in different scenarios. Some of the paintings represent everyday tasks like running or dog walking. Others show the more adventurous side such as his “Cliffhanger” or “Ropewalker” pieces, while others show the challenges and pressures in as seen in his “Rising Corporate Ladder” painting.
