This was inspired by watching flocks of birds forming murmurations, flying in a flock of swirling patterns The viewer is drawn into the painting by feeling the same frenetic energy of the birds that the fisherman is experiencing. I choose this subject because of the energy and the almost mathematical precision of flocks of birds in flight.
