About The Artwork
‘Villa Agnia Fresco’ is the original oil painting on canvas depicting an orange (tangerine) tree in a Roman era terracotta pot. Yellow, orange, brown, red, green and beige colors are slightly faded resembling ancient frescoes. Made in the author's personal technique with the adding of secret ingredients. Greek and Roman frescoes inspired me to create the series of artworks which transmit the character of mural paintings with their traces of centuries, the subtle colors of the past…
