About The Artwork
A month of painting in the North Island of New Zealand. You can feel the warm gentle breezes and so many exotic birds, It is hot and abundant here. A tiny sail boat arrives on the sandy beech below. I call this painting "Visitor". I like to paint impressionistically with thick paint and variations caused by the brush and pallet knife. This is what I saw looking out from the deck: violet, teal, blue, turquoise ocean that extends to the edge of the world.
