About The Artwork
Living near the ocean is very inspirational. I love to sit, and watch the water and its immense power. I love the zen feeling of a quiet sky and the birds singing. Yet, in the blink of an eye, the sky can change from so serene to very angry. Dark clouds roll in and the whole atmosphere offers a very different mood. I tried to capture all those feelings in one painting. Glazing softer colors into the dark clouds, for me, offers hope, offers possibilities, offers nature's immense and beautiful palette. No framing is necessary, as this is a deep gallery wrapped canvas. As with all my artwork, a certificate of authenticity is included. This painting is varnished for protection.
