About The Artwork
The themes of color and light, earth, sky and water in different terrestrial latitudes are very important to me and an main source of inspiration. I am working in my painting with the creation and destruction, associating expressive and meditative elements. I use in my work different, some self-invented techniques. My materials includes pigments, oil and acrylic paint, asphalt, resin, quartz, gypsum, emulsions, cement, earth, chalk, sometimes different findings. I work with multiple layers and reach a result that can be related to a natural phenomenon.

I studied painting in Russia and have been living and working in Berlin, Germany as a freelance artist since 2002. The themes of color and light, time and matter, earth, sky and water at different latitudes are very important to me and a main source of inspiration. In my paintings I deal with space, materiality, beauty and destruction and paradoxically combine expressive and meditative elements. I use various techniques in my work, some of which I have developed myself. My materials are pigments, oil and acrylic paints, asphalt, resin, quartz, plaster, emulsions, cement, earth, chalk and sometimes various found objects.
