Series ASYMPTOTE The term asymptote (from the Greek asymptotos, "mismatched") in mathematics, in simplistic terms, denotes a curve of a certain shape that "arbitrarily approaches" a given curve in a boundary process. Curves are in a sense "one-dimensional" subsets of a space. Such curves are images of paths, spaces and graphs in constantly changing functions. If a body (curve) snuggles against a straight line, then this line is called asymptote. An asymptote of such a curve "k" is a straight line "g" which arbitrarily approximates the curve "at infinity". A metaphor for the interaction of nature, man and man-made "straight", urban living spaces, which keep us alive on the one hand and at the same time the creeping destruction are ourselves - a paradox - beautiful, unreal and yet real. Man becomes human and straight becomes straight. sul Certificate + signature label. Fine art print (Giclée) on Hahnemühle Photo Rag. Artist Inventory Number (No.1-7)

I search for the unreal, the surreal in reality - hence photography as a form of expression of supposed objective reality. "The surprising can be found in the everyday of urban space, in the artificial landscape of cities and industrial landscapes that we ourselves have created. I am fascinated by filigree, undiscovered structures and forms that form a poetic interplay with the ordinary, a paradoxical contrast, a borderland". In order to depict this, to make it visible, not only the point of view becomes the protagonist, but also a special kind of development as well as the digital influence on the actual photography without, however, changing it in its essence and its originality. Border spaces between reality and reality.
