Printed on Heavy Texture Fine Art Paper – Hahnemulhle – William Turner Panorama Image Mounted on ¼” Foam board with a double (white and black) mat: 11.33” x 34” Mat width 3” ¼” wide on all four sides Image Signed, dated with pencil on mat Certificate of Authenticity provided. History of Loch Raven Reservoir: Originally built in 1881 as a dam and water tunnel to channel water to Lake Montebello and Lake Clifton, a new dam, creating a modern large reservoir lake, was constructed in 1914 in efforts to increase the municipal water supply, submerging the cotton mill town of Warren. Location: Baltimore County, Maryland Water volume: 23 billion US gallons (0.087 km3) Primary inflows: Big Gunpowder Falls river Surface area: 3.75 sq mi (9.7 km2) As a lover of “The Liberal Arts and Sciences,” I am fascinated and inspired by the work originated by the Dutch Masters of the Golden Era. Specifically, their usage of rich tints, hues, and textures. With my grassroots as a Fine Arts painter and now a photographer and an Actor, I draw on my experiences from my art when creating artwork. The usage of textures allows me to add volume to my work and expand my imagination. In this image, I wanted to illustrate and share the breathtaking view of the Echo System as depicted in certain areas of the reservoir. I added my signature texture technique too add volume and give the photographic image an artsy feel. I additionally used a combination of complementary washed nearly to black colors to soften the mood. The Scene is very special to me as I normally visit to observe bask in its beauty and photograph it. Although the reservoir appears alone and yet not lonely but peaceful. My most solemn moments are spent here when studying my lines, photographing or just admiring, watching and enjoying the scenery.

Cuban American Actor, Photographer and Retired Combat Veteran, who started a career in the “Arts” in early childhood. Thus, my vast experiences in life have allowed me to see both the darkness and the light in mankind, hence the forefront and experience I call upon in my Art. Since retirement from the Armed Services, I am now able to pursue and dedicate unbounded time to my love and passion of Acting and Photography. Owner of D. Artist, LLC, located in the Town of North East, MD where I focus on Acting, sale of Fine Art Prints and Movie Poster Design. As an Actor, I live my roles through my experiences and hope to render my best performance to the audience. As a Photographer – Digital Artist, I engineer my image(s) to represent a perception of realism and surrealism that Nature so often will present to us in such a delightful and breath-taking manner, thereby allowing us to formulate an interpretation of what we think it should be and marble in her magnificence. My methods and composition are consistent, and style can vary depending on my feelings at the time of creation, while listening to worldly inspirational music. I am a lover of the “Liberal Arts and Sciences”, Golden Era Dutch Masters – Rembrandt, Baroque and Vermeer; Surrealist – Salvador Dali and Modern-day Photographer - Joel Grimes and Tony Sweet. My life-long experiences are but a compilation of the driving force in me. Acting and Photography are my calling, my passion, my professions. My satisfaction is that audience/person who views my work obtains something a little different – a means of self-identification and comfort. A Stylist, Eclectic and a Thespian by nature, if that’s all you ever know about me, it’s enough to say, “You know me quite well.”
