About The Artwork
Continuing the beginning of presenting my photography and original art inspired by visits ( and a too brief one & 1/2 year stay after retirement ) to Vermont, I offer Nautical Sunrise Mount Mansfield Malletts Bay 2017. It was cold, freezing about, and beautiful - very! And I was thrilled to capture two icons from my wife's home state's beauty - Mount Mansfield and Mallets Bay, at one of my favorite times of day, sunrise - all two days before my birthday 🙏 I've also a small 11x14 2018 oil, modified slightly, I'll present in the near future; but I'm determined to 1st create and offer a double matted digital version to complement the sheer photo; just for fun 😊

032624 update - My wife and I are blessed to have found a new address here in Austin that'll keep us close to our youngest grandchild as the start of middle school begins later this year in August. The next month will be a full time of sorting and relocating, so in the interim, I'll concentrate on uploading new selections of recent paintings plus some photos from our visit to Vermont late last year 🙏 Below is my original profile info; thanks so much for visiting! 🙏❤️ About me Now 73 years ago, and first remembering painting in 2nd grade at Memorial Elementary in Houston, it's time for me to organize my work, and maybe reveal to myself what it is I've been so content to have worked at creating all these decades.
