About The Artwork
This image is a Polapan slide. It was exposed at temperatures over 100 degrees in the Okavango Delta of Botswana. The subject matter is Papyrus, a reed used to make the first paper. Upon returning to the states, I froze the film, thawed it and processed it. The unstable nature of the polaroid chemistry yielded some great results.
