About The Artwork
During my road trips in California, I used to pull over often by the "Avenue of the Giants" in Humbolt County to sleep peacefully in the total silence of the forest. One day I went for one of my explorative expeditions in the redwood forest, I found this tree, fallen over some bushes creating a bridge between the forest and the river. There I found this place. Every time I went there I never met anybody, sometimes I went there with my friends and we spent those hot afternoon of August jumping off the log into the cold water. This is my secret spot.
