About The Artwork

Inspired by the Redding Marathon course which goes from Shasta Dam down to the Sundial Bridge. Running in the event I felt the colour and energy of the surroundings and then put them into this drawing. To make the silk screen, I worked with Ana Nelson, who cut the complex stencils over a couple months. The original serigraph was 23x35 and there are very few left from the edition of 100.
