About The Artwork
I have always been attracted to simple, nonrepresentational and forms in sculpture, drawing inspiration from sculptors including Henry Moore and Alexander Calder. I am attracted to clean lines and smooth surfaces, something that paper's versatility allows me to achieve. I enjoy working in white media, as it is particularly sensitive to light and shows shadows well. Creating abstract forms allows me to explore the balance between negative and positive space. All cubes are tightly secured to each other.
