About The Artwork
I created this sculpture using the age old technique of coiling with clay. Clay has been a medium for personal growth and discovery for me. The images that come forth from my imagination have deep resemblance to religious imagery of my early years and resonate with spiritual themes. The pieces in this Temple series evoke a scared experience with a range of emotions from primal to very modern, amusing or scary even.
